| EASTE
General Description |
 |
The ALM-280
is a ruggedized, fully programmable mobile Radar / Electronic Warfare
(R/EW) test system designed to accomplish performance verification
of a wide variety of R/EW systems. |
 |
The EASTE
System generates complex RF signals and evaluates responses from the
System-Under-Test (SUT). |
 |
The
ALM-280 is designed to be operated via user-friendly display prompts.
A remote terminal keyboard/display allows a single technician to control
test activity and analyze test results remotely, even from inside
the aircraft crew compartment. |
|
 |
A key feature
of the ALM-280 is its versatility in allowing the operator to create
RF emitters via
keyboard input and perform automatic calibration and self-test. |
 |
The ALM-280
test set operates in either automatic, semi-automatic or manual modes
to provide increased performance measurement efficiency for SUT maintenance
and fault isolation. |
 |
The EASTE's
versatile hardware and software design make it an excellent tool for
developmental testing of new R/EW systems or evaluating upgrades to
existing systems. |
