EDO's Electronic Warfare (EW) Test Range Support Services

EDO has provided the U.S. Air Force and Navy Electronic Warfare range support (including Black Programs) for over 25 years.
Our Electronic Warfare Engineers and Mission Planners:
Identify test assets required, modes of operation, optimal routes to be flown, and data format and collection requirements.
Typical Threat
Provide specialized run-by-run briefings for the threat system operators and provide real-time guidance to Mission Control personnel.
Deploy to remote Electronic Warfare test ranges to ensure that test conditions are met by advising and assisting threat emitter operators with real-time configuration and employment decisions.
Provide on-site assistance to test range control personnel in making real-time decisions to ensure maximum efficiency in accomplishing planned test runs.
Routinely provide detailed run-by-run briefings to bomber and fighter aircrews to ensure that they understand the tests to be accomplished and the actions they must take for maximum effectiveness in data collection.
 
EW Test Range
EDO and government personnel develop threat libraries at Warner Robins AFB for use at all laboratory locations using test range and EWIR parameters.
Our EW Engineers and support personnel use the Integrated Facility for Avionics Systems Test (IFAST) located at Edwards AFB to generate pre-test mission scenarios that emulate the in-flight conditions expected for a planned defensive mission. Dynamic flight environment emulation include:
