Product sub-assembly, equipment, and system testing services

EDO has strong sub-assembly, equipment, and system testing capabilities. Products we test go through rigorous testing before shipment. We provide testing services at our facilities or onsite at customer locations.

Our testing services include:

Designing tests from definition to completion

Writing test plans and procedures that adhere to our ISO 9001:2000 certified processes.

Managing test conduct and coordinating testing with our customers

Using manual and automated methods to perform tests

Developing or modifying special test software and related test application tools for automated tests and performing data collection, reduction, and analysis functions

Building or modifying special test equipment and simulators required for testing

Integrating computers, general-purpose test equipment (GPTE), special test equipment, and/or simulators to perform tests

Performing manual data reduction and analysis of test results

Writing interim and final test reports

Performing QA test monitoring to ensure that test results do or do not meet customer specifications and verify that test results/reports are accurate

EDO testing facilities can be quickly configured to test new products. Our test facilities include an anechoic chamber for testing RF/microwave devices.

Customers wanting to test their products can have EDO perform every aspect of the testing or they can rent our test facilities and test equipment and perform the testing themselves. In addition, our engineering and technical support personnel can be outsourced to supplement a customer’s testing staff.
